Humboldt Storage & Moving were grateful to sponsor the 16th Annual Matt Horridge Memorial Golf Tournament on July 21st in North Kingston, RI in honor of Humboldt Team Member, Jay Horridge’s, late brother. Now in its 16th year, the event aims to raise funds in Matt’s memory to support Earth LTD at the Southwick Zoo and the Matthew Horridge Scholarship. Thanks for allowing us to support this wonderful cause.

As many know now, April is Autism Awareness Month. We believe the autism community has done a good job of creating awareness around autism including the challenges and the gifts associated with it. Many individuals with autism are contributing to our communities in ways we never imagined several years ago. However, for many living with autism, the challenges that come with an autism diagnosis can cause large amounts of stress on both the individual and the family. Humboldt’s Dave MacDonald was recently honored as United Van Lines 2018 Masters Club Member. The Masters Club is a reward and recognition program for sales representatives for exceptional sales achievement during the past year in five business segment categories : corporate account household goods, residential household goods, logistics/special products, international, and total revenue. This year, 170 United Van Lines agent (including Dave) qualified for the Master’s Club. In any field, the master is the one who has achieved the highest level of performance… Congratulations Dave!

Humboldt Storage and Moving, the oldest moving company in Greater Boston has hired North Kingstown, RI Resident Todd Harris as their new Move Consultant & Move Surveyor. The role Harris will be taking on has him surveying all kinds of moves including local, national and interstate moves as well as commercial moves. Harris will be responsible for estimating the size as well as the cost of these moves. Humboldt Storage and Moving, the oldest moving company in Greater Boston, is welcoming two new team members : Eric Furey & Connor Duggan. We recently promoted New Bedford resident, Eric Furey, to the position of Field Operations Manager. In his new role, Mr. Furey will be responsible for working closely with senior management as well as all departments with the ultimate goal of ensuring all customers that utilize the Boston moving company’s services are moved in a stress-free environment. Furey will also conduct regular trainings with Humboldt staff and work closely with United Van Lines, bringing enhanced training, customer service
