But unless you contact us for our professional packing services, you’ll need to carve out some time to pack everything in your home. Not only that but you’ll need the right boxes, packing materials as well as the proper tools to get the job done.
When you get started on packing for your move, you’ll want to have everything handy. If you have to keep running out to the store to get items, you’ll waste a ton of time and just get stressed out.
Don’t forget these items when you start to pack for your move.
Permanent markers or sharpies
One very simple thing you can do to reduce the stress when you get to your new home is to make sure all your boxes are labeled. And you should do this with a permanent marker. Your boxes will be moved around during the process so it’s important to use a permanent marker for each box.
Good quality scissors
Make sure you have a couple pairs of quality scissors that are sharpened. You may need to cut all types of materials including wrapping paper as well as bubble wrap.
Tape dispenser
What can make wrapping your boxes so much easier and securing them is using a tape dispenser with a cutter attached. Securing your boxes with tape will go so much faster than having to wrap it and then cut them with scissors and fumble around trying to find the end of the tape roll. We’ve all done that…
Patience and good music
If you’re going to pack everything in your home you’re going to need to be patient, methodical and in a good mood. So get yourself ready, understand the job may take longer than you think and put on some of your favorite music.
