Stay Warm When Moving in Winter

As the cold air moves in, so do the snow storms. Winter moving can be a difficult thing, but we want to give you some tips to help you be prepared. Here are some things to remember in order to stay warm: New Home Utilities Don’t forget to have the utilities set up in your new home, and make sure that they are functioning properly. This may seem obvious but this could happen. Have the heat and water turned on a few days before you move so you know that everything works and your house is warm for your arrival. Leave the heat and electricity on in your current home until you are fully moved out. Keep yourself warm Do this by dressing appropriately for the weather, you can always remove layers is you begin to get hot. Consider leaving your door open to balance the temperature while going back and forth to the truck.
