In the past 10 years, Humboldt has set out to change the image of moving. With a brand of “Relax and Get Moving,” Humboldt and its employees have worked hard to make a stressful time, the moving experience, much more manageable and less worrisome for customers. The goal of putting every customer at ease is embedded in the culture and every team member understands their role. From the way in which all team members interact with customers, to online video surveys, virtual document signing, educational videos and other resources, Humboldt has worked in all areas to make moving less stressful.

The company has also fostered a culture of relaxation by developing a kid’s program where they involve the children of customers in the move and a monthly Stress Removers Award to a Humboldt team member, as well as producing videos aimed at assisting those on the autism spectrum be more at ease through a relocation.

In the community, Humboldt has raised significant funds for charity, including partnering with the March of Dimes and March for Babies, and holding an annual truck pull to benefit the Special Olympics. That event alone has raised well over $100,000 in the past six years.
