As you may be aware, many people throw out a good deal of “stuff” when they move.  Unfortunately, a lot of this “stuff” is food that could be delivered to a family in need rather than thrown away.  That’s where Humboldt’s partnership with Move For Hunger comes in.

Move For Hunger is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that works with relocation companies to collect non-perishable food items, and deliver it to food banks all across North America.

When preparing to pack, simply set aside your unopened, nonperishable food items. The Humboldt crew will pack up your food and deliver it to a local food pantry. From there your donations will be sorted and delivered to local families in need.
