More Than Words : Donate Used Books, CDs, DVDs, & Video Games
Humboldt Storage & Moving has partnered with More Than Words to empower youth who are in foster care, court-involved, homeless or out of school to take charge of their lives by taking charge of a business. Simply place your books off to the side in a designated area. Humboldt will provide boxes and packing services and will donate the books, CDs, DVDs, and video games on your behalf. Move For Hunger : Donate Non-Perishable Food
As you may be aware, many people throw out a good deal of “stuff” when they move. Unfortunately, a lot of this “stuff” is food that could be delivered to a family in need rather than thrown away. That’s where Move For Hunger comes in. Simply set aside your unopened, nonperishable food items. The Humboldt crew will pack up your food and deliver it to a local food pantry.
