Over $16,200 was raised by Truck Pull participants and spectators. Since its inception, the event has raised over $82,000 and seeks to continually raise funds as well as awareness for Special Olympics Massachusetts. The funds raised help support more than 13,000 individuals with intellectual disabilities who participate in Special Olympics Massachusetts year-round programming. Missed the event? Donations are still being accepted on our website: http://www.humboldttruckpull.com

At the event, 9 teams of 10 individuals had the chance to pull a full sized Humboldt tractor trailer, a Humboldt box truck, a Fallon ambulance, and a Town of Stoughton fire engine. Teams came from all walks of life including team members from Humboldt, RSM, Fallon Ambulance Service, Hajjar’s Bar & Grille, the Boston Irish Wolfhounds Rugby Club, the Bishop Feehan Football team, and newcomers: The Iron Addicts. The team with the lowest pull average is the winner. This year’s (undefeated) winner was “Hajjar’s Heroes” of Hajjar’s Bar & Grille in Weymouth.

The Humboldt Truck Pull also featured a FREE “Touch A Truck” family friendly exhibition and great local raffles prizes. The Touch-a-Truck exhibition provided a unique opportunity for children to explore and climb on vehicles of all types – public service, emergency, utility, construction, transportation, and delivery – all in one place! This year our “Touch A Truck” exhibition also features classic cars thanks to the Spindles Auto Club out of Weymouth.
