Here at Humboldt we try to be prepared for any situation that can happen during a move, especially in the winter. We want to ensure that those we are moving are just as prepared.  Here are a few tips to help you be prepared: Be aware of the weather, and know what your mover’s policy is in terms of winter conditions. Know your travel route to your new home, and have alternate routes in case of road closings.  Have a list of overnight accommodations in case you need to stop along the way to your new home. Make sure your car is winterized and you have the number of roadside assistance in case you need it. A winter move can be stressful, but it doesn’t have to be. If you are prepared and follow these tips, you will be ready for whatever winter brings your way on moving day. Now you can relax, and get moving.
